Three-day trip to Zagori, departing Friday evening. Saturday: crossing of the Vikos gorge from the square of Monodendri past the Voidomatis springs to Vikos village (one-way, 15 km, +630 m / -900 m, about 7 h with stops, grade 2+ moderate+, for people in quite good physical condition). Sunday: 6 km rafting descent of the Voidomatis river (grade 2 of 6, suitable for beginners) to the Klidonia bridge with certified guides and all rafting gear provided, then lunch by the river and return to Athens before 23:30. Two nights with breakfast at the Zagori Philoxenia 3* or Monodendri Hotel 3*. Deposit €120 within 2 days of booking. Bring a swimsuit and towel for the rafting. Included: coach transport, experienced escorts certified in first aid, group first-aid kit, hiking poles, travel-agency liability insurance and taxes; meals not included. Bring hiking boots (required), clothes for the season, a windproof/waterproof jacket, a backpack, at least 1.5 litres of water, snacks and a change of clothes and shoes for after the hike.
