Sunday: from Syrrako down the Chrousias gorge on the old cobbled path and up to Kalarrytes, then the Kouiasa-Pouliana path to the Kouiasa waterfall and a visit to Kipina monastery, 11 km, 5 h, +350 m, grade B. Monday: through the forest past the twin Kefalovryso waterfalls (170 m) and the Pramanta refuge down to Pramanta, 8.5 km, 4 h, +200/-400 m, grade B moderate; lunch in Pramanta and back in Thessaloniki in the evening. Coach stops: Voulgari & Egnatia (Everest) 08:00, Archaeological Museum 08:15, One Salonica open-air parking 08:30. The refuge has heated 5-6 bed bunk rooms with their own bathroom; bring a sheet and pillowcase or a sleeping bag.
