The celebration starts in festive spirit! Santa Chiosrunning is a non-competitive, festive 5 km Christmas run for the whole family in Chios town, organized by the Chios Health Athletes Club «Chiosrunning» together with the Municipality of Chios. The organizer has announced it for December 2026, but the exact date, start time, entry fee and registration period have not been published yet; the date shown here is provisional and we'll update this page as soon as the details are out. Start and finish are provisionally at Chios Town Hall, as in the club's other town races and the previous edition (Saturday 27 December 2025, 17:00), on a flat route through the centre of Chios town. In 2025 the symbolic entry fee included a bib with the runner's name, a race t-shirt, a participation diploma and a medal, with part of the proceeds going to charity; everyone who takes part is a winner. Registration is online only via chiosrunning.gr. Contact: chiosrunning@gmail.com, tel. 6949071256 / 6937726975.
