Loop hike around the two highest summits of Parnitha, Karavola (1,413 m) and Ornio (1,350 m), suitable also for children and families. Start from the Bafi refuge; past Skipiza spring, the highest spring of Parnitha; climb to the fire lookout with panoramic views towards the Saronic Gulf, the Euboean Gulf and Dirfys; past Maderes, Temples and Bilkiniza; loop around Ornio summit via Samari; through fir and black pine forest. 8.5 km, +285 m / −285 m, grade Α, 2:45 net walking time, 4:00 including stops. Basic fitness required; hiking boots and poles recommended. Meeting at the Bafi refuge, Parnitha, at 09:30; the activity runs 10:00–13:15.
