Loop hike in the fir forest of Parnitha, for experienced hikers and for those taking their first steps in hiking. We go up to Mon Parnes by cable car and walk a loop past the Bafi (1,161 m) and Flampouri (1,158 m) refuges, with stops at the refuges: Mon Parnes – Bafi – Flampouri – Mon Parnes, 11 km, 4 hours, +300 m / −300 m elevation difference, difficulty 1 (paved sections and short climbs), with gentle ups and downs and clearings with views. Programme: 09:00 meeting at the lower station of the Mon Parnes cable car; 09:00–09:30 ride up by cable car; 09:30–14:00 the hike; 14:00–14:30 ride down to the lower station, where the programme ends. Travel there and back by your own means (no transport included). Included: experienced guides, insurance and organisation, all taxes; not included: meals, personal expenses, entrance fees, equipment, anything not mentioned in the programme. The fee is €10 for members of the Taxideftes Club; families can ask for an offer. Payment must accompany the registration form, by bank deposit, IRIS or card through Eurobank live pay (card payments +2%). Cancellation by the participant more than 5 days before: the money can be used by the same person for another outing within 6 months; less than 4 days before: the money is lost; no loss if you find a replacement. If the organizer cancels, the payment is refunded. Recommended gear: hiking boots, poles, backpack, 1 litre of water and snacks, windproof/waterproof jacket, fleece, spare clothes, sun protection, head torch.
