One-way hike of 7.5 km and 3.5 hours with stops, from the Agia Eleousa springs to Mantamia and Polydrosos on Parnassos. It starts near Lilaia at the springs of Agia Eleousa, where the waters of the Boeotian Kifisos rise, with the ruins of the old Agia Eleousa church among the plane trees. It continues through the Mantamia ravine, among wooded slopes and running water, past old water-powered works, watermills and the ruins of the 1924 hydroelectric plant; higher up the gorge stands the Mantamia tower. Stop for photos at the Mantamia waterfall with its small pool, then on over small bridges to Polydrosos, with free time in the village for food or coffee. +211/-139 m, grade 1/5, easy and suitable for beginners with basic fitness.
