Two-day autumn trip on Mainalo with a night at the Mainalo mountain refuge. Saturday: wine tasting at a local Arcadian winery, then from the refuge up to Ostrakina summit (1,981 m) through the fir forest and back (4.1 km, +/-394 m, 2-2.5 h); evening at the refuge. Sunday: from the refuge through the fir forests down to Alonistaina (10.4 km, +550 m / -940 m, about 4 h with stops), then a walk in Vytina and return to Athens. Grade «moderate». Minimum 17 participants. Included: coach, wine tasting, one night at the Mainalo refuge, certified mountain guide, agency escort, fitness coach, group first-aid kit and taxes; meals not included. Bring a sleeping bag and sheets, a head torch with spare batteries, warm layers (fleece, hat, gloves, neck gaiter), a waterproof/windproof jacket, hiking boots (not trainers), poles, a small daypack, at least 2 litres of water and snacks for 2 days.
