Coach day trip to mountain Arcadia for a point-to-point traverse on Mainalo, from the historic village of Chrysovitsi, linked to the Greek Revolution of 1821, to Mantaiika, through the fir forests of the mountain. 7.5 km, +110 m / -220 m, grade A (level A – easy), about 2:45 h net walking time (3:40 h with stops), with gentle gradients on forest paths and dirt tracks, part of the area's trail network, with stops for rest and observing nature. The coach waits at Mantaiika, so there is no return to the start. If time allows after the hike, there is a food stop in the area before returning to Athens, depending on how the day goes. For people with basic fitness, comfortable walking on natural ground and forest paths, with no recent injury limiting movement, who follow the guides' instructions and the group's pace; first-time hikers or anyone unsure should contact the organizer before registering. Required gear: hiking boots with a good sole and stability (mandatory), small daypack, water and personal snack, waterproof jacket (at least 10,000 mm), warm clothing in layers, hat and gloves depending on the weather, hiking poles (recommended), personal medication if needed, a change of clothes and clean, dry shoes for the coach ride back. Meeting at Agios Antonios metro station at 06:40, departure at 07:00 by tourist coach; the activity ends at 21:00. Included: tourist coach, a cereal bar and Naturals juice, experienced guides with their fees, group first-aid kit, civil professional liability insurance, Iridium satellite communication system, radio communication, design and running of the activity.
