Point-to-point hike on the slopes of Lower Olympus, from Ano Skotina (880 m) down to Palaios Panteleimonas (410 m), through chestnut, beech and fir forest with the view opening to Olympus and the Thermaic Gulf. 8.5 km, +150 m / -560 m, 3.5-4 hours, difficulty 1.5/5, moderate fitness or better; ages 14+ with a guardian. Free time for food and a walk in the stone-built village of Palaios Panteleimonas afterwards. Coach leaves 07:30 from Kaftanzoglio Stadium and 07:50 from One Salonica (lower parking, Stathmou St traffic light), short stop at the Korinos service area, hike 10:30-14:30, departure 16:30, back at One Salonica 18:00 and Kaftanzoglio 18:20. €25 by coach; no own-car option because the route starts and ends in different places.
