8.8 km loop from the Livadeia municipal stadium: 3.2 km of moderate climb on forest road and path to the Evangelistis Loukas chapel and spring, then about 3 km down on forest and cobbled paths past Agios Minas, the Erkyna gorge, the stone theatre, the Krya springs, the Oracle of Trophonius and the old watermill. Optional: 130 stone steps up to Agia Ierousalim chapel, and the medieval castle of Livadeia (adds 1.3 km, free entry). +300/-300 m without the castle, altitude 152-480 m. Grade 1+, needs some hiking experience and basic gear (hiking shoes, waterproof, backpack); weather can be unpredictable.
