Held in memory of Stelios Kyriakidis, Panhellenic and Balkan champion at 10,000 m and the marathon, winner of the 1946 Boston Marathon, founding member of the Filothei Athletic Club and longtime director of the gymnasium that now bears his name. 2026 marks 80 years since his Boston win and 70 years of the club. Organized by the Filothei Athletic Club with the support of the Municipality of Filothei-Psychiko, under the auspices of SEGAS, on public roads. Start and finish: Municipal Gymnasium of Filothei, Kalliga 77. Course map: 3 laps. AIMS-certified course, electronic timing. Time limit: 1 hour 30 minutes. Categories: U20 boys/girls (born 2007-2008), Men/Women (born 1992-2006), Veterans men/women in 5-year groups 35-39 to 70+ (born 1991 and earlier). Participant limit: 1,000; registration closes when the limit is reached. 70th anniversary offer: the first 70 completed registrations for the 5K or 10K are free. Medal and commemorative diploma for all finishers; a special 80th-anniversary medal for all participants and volunteers. Awards: top 3 men and women overall and top 3 in each age category; a cup to each category winner, medals to the top 3. Opening ceremony by the Mayor of Filothei-Psychiko at 08:50.
