Two-day trip on Koziakas in the southern Pindus with a night at the Koziakas mountain refuge. Day 1 (Saturday 14/11): leave 07:30 from Kaftanzoglio Stadium and 07:50 from One Salonica, stop at the Evangelismos service area, arrive at the refuge at 12:00 and hike 12:30-14:00 up the high slopes towards Astrapi peak (3 km, +/-350 m) with views over the whole Pindus; free time and night at the refuge. Day 2 (Sunday 15/11): breakfast, then 09:30-13:00 down through fir forest, springs and fountains past Trypio Lithari to the traditional village of Elati (8 km, -900 m), with free time for lunch; leave 15:45, back at One Salonica 19:10 and Kaftanzoglio 19:30. Highest point 1,901 m. Difficulty 1.5/5, moderate fitness or better; ages 14+ with a guardian. €120 with transport (company van or car) or €90 with your own vehicle; €50 deposit within 3 days of booking.
