Two-day Wanderlust Peaks Project weekend in Evrytania with two mountain ascents and one night in Karpenisi. Saturday 21 November: morning departure from Athens to the Velouchi mountain refuge and route A to the summit of Tymfristos (Velouchi, 2,315 m): about 5.5 km, +450 m / -450 m, grade Β, 4 h net walking (4.5 h with stops); afterwards transfer to the Hotel Elvetia in the historic centre of Karpenisi and free time in the town. Sunday 22 November: after breakfast, transfer to Palaio Mikro Chorio and route B to the summit of Chelidona: about 12 km, +1,100 m / -1,100 m, grade Β+, 6 h net walking (6.5 h with stops); it needs good fitness, a steady pace and previous experience of mountain hikes. Both routes are out-and-back (start and finish at the same point). After the hike, an organised meal at a local tavern and return to Athens (event end 21:00). For hikers with previous experience of grade Β mountain routes and good fitness; maximum 35 participants. The detailed programme and the final gear list are sent a week before (via the group's Viber chat, or by email for those without Viber); extra winter gear may be required. In bad weather or terrain conditions the leaders may modify, shorten, postpone or replace a route. Price €210 per person; single room +€30, subject to availability and prior arrangement; room allocation by availability and booking order. A €100 deposit is required with the registration and the balance must be paid by 5 November.
