Loop hike in the Hymettus Aesthetic Forest with a visit to the Drakospito (Dragon House): forest trails, rocky slopes and views over the Athens basin. From the Kaisariani Fire Lookout the loop passes the Taxiarches, the Drakospito and Kalopoula before returning to the start, on trails with ups and downs, partly among the trees and partly on open slopes, at the group's pace with stops for rest, the views and photos. At the Drakospito we stop to look at the stone structure up close, respectfully, without moving stones or climbing on it. 9.5 km, +480 m / −480 m, grade Α+-Β, 4:00 net walking time, 5:00 including stops. For people in good physical condition with previous hiking experience: the climbs, descents and uneven ground require a steady step and ease on mountain trails. Travel by participants' own cars; loop with start and finish at the same point. If you have no transport, note in the registration comments that you want carpooling; car sharing will be arranged in the Viber group chat, depending on available seats. Detailed instructions and a meeting-point reminder are sent before the activity via Viber (or email for those not on Viber). Meeting at the Kaisariani Fire Lookout "Dimitris Karamolegkos" at 08:40 (please arrive on time); the activity runs 09:00–13:00. Capacity 55 people. €20, paid on the spot on the day of the activity.
