Saturday: from Athens to Chania and a circular winter hike through the forest to Aidonaki summit (1,530 m), snow permitting; 8 km, ±400 m, 4 h, grade A. Evening at the Xenia Palace Portaria 4*: festive dinner with unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks, the New Year's pita with prizes, presentation of the 2027 trips and expeditions, then a DJ party. Sunday: from Kala Nera through Pinakates and Vyzitsa to Milies and the historic Pelion train («Moutzouris»); option A 10 km traverse, +600 m, 5 h; option B 15 km circular back to Kala Nera, ±600 m, 7 h; both grade A. Return to Athens.
