Hike on Sunday 22 November 2026 at Dionysos in north Penteli, on a green loop route with a visit to the Open-Air Museum of Quarrying Art and stops at the chapels of Agios Loukas and Agios Nikitas. The quarries worked without a break for about 40 years from 1899; a contractor who worked there for years, Aloulas, gave his name to the whole area. They closed in the 1940s and since 1994 the site has been an open-air museum of quarrying art. Route: start from Dionysos towards the Open-Air Museum of Quarrying Art; on to the chapels of Agios Loukas and Agios Nikitas; return along the south side of the museum towards the Solinari spring and Dionysos. 5.5 km, +275 m / −275 m, organizer grade Α, net walking time 2:00, 3:00 with stops. Meeting at 09:30–09:40, start at 10:00; the activity ends at 13:30. At least moderate fitness is required. The fee (€15) is paid in person on the day of the activity. Capacity: 30 people.
