Linear route of 8 km, +290 m / -290 m, grade A, about 3:30 h net walking time (4:30 h with stops), largely on the European long-distance path E4, through forest of chestnut, oak, walnut, apple and other deciduous trees, on paths covered in fallen leaves. The walk ends in Ano Doliana, a traditional stone-built village, with time to see its lanes, stone houses and historic sites, including the Christofilis house known as 'Nikitaras' Tambouri', where Nikitaras and his men fortified themselves in the Battle of Doliana (18 May 1821); it now houses the Historical and Ethnographic Museum of Doliana. Suitable for people with basic fitness; no particular technical difficulty, but participants must be able to move safely on natural and possibly slippery ground. Meeting at Agios Antonios metro station at 06:40, departure strictly at 07:00, by private tourist coach; the activity ends at 20:00. Booking is required with prepayment; payment and participation instructions are sent by email after registration, and the detailed programme is posted in the group's Viber chat before departure.
