Non-competitive 1,000m children's race starting and finishing at the Central Square of Ano Kerasovo, held alongside the main trail race as part of the Chestnut Festival. Nearly flat (+/- 8m) on safe, closed paved roads within and around the village: 500m out to a traditional kiosk just outside the village where volunteers manage the turnaround, then 500m back to a celebratory finish at the square. No rankings, times or cups; every child who finishes receives the commemorative event medal. Open to all children with no participant limit. On-site registration at the square secretariat until 30 minutes before the start; a printed parental or guardian consent form must be signed at bib pickup and is provided by the organisers. Children gather at 15:45 for warm-up and instructions. Parents and guardians are welcome to run or walk alongside younger children. Medical coverage on site with an ambulance and rescuers. Includes bib, finisher medal, and post-race water, bananas and chestnuts. Free buses leave Plateia Mavili in Agrinio at 14:15 for Ano Kerasovo. Medal presentations from 16:30.
